Ben has been playing piano since the age of 5 and has always been very musical. He sang in his local church choir from the age of 9 and performed at numerous choir festivals. He frequently performed piano recitals at school concerts and has always enjoyed making music. He studied acting and musical theatre at The Central School of Speech and Drama and graduated in 2000. Ben has been playing cocktail and lounge piano for many years now. He has performed at a wide variety of venues and functions including The Water Rats Ball at London’s prestigious Grosvenor House hotel. He is also an accomplished singer and comedian and regularly performs as one half of a double act with his father, Simmons and Simmons. Most recently they headlined the famous Seaside Special show in Cromer, Norfolk in the summer of 2009, where Ben showed off his piano skills in an Elton John tribute section. Ben continues to enjoy performing all over the country.
